PARCA's international Board of Directors consist of representatives active in the day to day operations of the digital healthcare environment from educational and provider institutions. In addition to the day to day operation of PARCA in conjunction with the Executive Secretary, Francien Podor, the Board's responsibilities include specifying the requirements for the certification examinations and eventual recertification and monitoring the applicability and validity of examine questions. The Board retains consultants who have specialized knowledge in specific areas of medical informatics to prepare the examination questions.

Larry John Filipow, Ph.D., MS, BS
Larry is a Qualified Medical Physicist with 27 years experience in research, education, clinical practice and management of medical physics related diagnostic imaging programs. Specifically: responsibilities in radiological equipment purchasing; specifications writing; equipment quality control program development and implementation; acceptance testing; strategic planning and operations and personnel management; resident and graduate research; training and supervision; and image management and communications systems (PACS/IMACS).

Michael Ong, MS, BS, MSSR
Michael is a Senior Radiographer at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore. He is the President of the Singapore Society of Radiographers (SSR) since 2006 to the present and is on several professional advisory panels and boards. He is also a visiting fellow at the London South Bank University, U.K., since 2002. His clinical interests as a Radiographer include orthopedic imaging and MRI. He assumed the PACS administrator role in end 2006 and had been involved in multiple IT initiatives such as filmless Radiology, CCOE, and Orthopedic digital templating.

Jamie Osland, B Applied Science (MRT)
Jamie is a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, has an IT background and is a PACS system administrator for Western Health - a multi-site hospital in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He has broad experience supporting RIS, PACS, and Speech Recognition systems from several vendors. He has implemented PACS, RIS, and voice systems from the ground up, and over 10 years experience working with Healthcare IT and application support across large hospital and private Radiological groups in Australia. Director of Osland Consulting, a consulting company specialising in Health IT, his experience and commitment to the development of the PACS Administrator field brings energy to PARCA.

Charles E. Willis, Ph.D., DABR
Chuck is a diagnostic radiologic physicist and Associate Professor in the Department of Imaging Physics, UT M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He has been working in the field of digital radiographic imaging since 1987. He was involved with early implementation of large-scale PACS in the MDIS Project from 1992-1995, and at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii from 1995-1997. He was an Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine from 1997-2004 assigned to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas as the Chief of Electronic Imaging during their transition to filmless imaging. He is active in the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (formerly the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology). Chuck brings to PARCA a historical perspective on the development and fielding of clinical PACS.
